Champions League 2024/25, Upcoming Matches for Juventus, Milan, and Inter

The group stage of the Champions League is nearing its end: the 7th matchday will take place on January 21, followed by the 8th and final matchday on January 29.
According to the regulations introduced in 2024, the top 8 teams in the standings qualify directly for the Round of 16, while those ranked 9th to 24th must play an additional playoff round. The bottom 12 teams are eliminated.
Here’s an overview of the current standings for the Italian teams:
- Inter is currently in 6th position with 13 points.
- Milan is in 12th position with 12 points.
- Atalanta and Juventus are in 13th and 14th positions, respectively, with 11 points each.
- Bologna is in 33rd position with 2 points.
If the current standings remain unchanged after the final two group stage matchdays, Inter would advance directly to the Round of 16, while Milan, Atalanta, and Juventus would need to play the playoffs, and Bologna would be eliminated from the Champions League.
Upcoming Matches for Italian Teams in the Champions League
Inter will face Sparta Prague at the Epet Arena on January 22, followed by a match against AS Monaco at Giuseppe Meazza San Siro in Milan seven days later.

On the 7th matchday of the Champions League, Bologna will face one of the season’s favorites, Borussia Dortmund. The match, Bologna vs. Borussia Dortmund, will take place on January 21 at Renato Dall'Ara Stadium. During the 8th and final matchday, Sporting will host Bologna at Estádio José Alvalade.
