On June 1, 2024, at Wembley Stadium, the Cinderella story Borussia Dortmund will face Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid: The Finalists
Borussia Dortmund emerged victorious in Paris, avenging their painful elimination by PSG in the 2020 Round of 16. The match on May 7 started slowly, with both teams cautiously analyzing each other. There were some attempts, including a lightning-fast counterattack by Adeyemi, who sprinted almost the entire field, entered the box, and shot—only for Donnarumma to save PSG in the first half. Shortly after, Mbappé and Ruiz combined for a dangerous play, thwarted by Dortmund’s central defender.
The second half was far more intense. Both teams came out aggressive, and within minutes, Mats Hummels scored for Dortmund.
The Parisians fought back but failed to capitalize, and the match ended with the same scoreline as the first leg at the Westfalenstadion.
It was a completely different story for Real Madrid vs Bayer. At the Santiago Bernabéu, fans witnessed a game to remember, fought tooth and nail until the final whistle. Alphonso Davies scored in the 68th minute, putting Bayer ahead. Real Madrid responded with unrelenting aggression.
Despite countless chances, the scoreboard remained unchanged, and the tension in the stadium rose as time ticked away. Then, in the 88th minute, Joselu found the net, leveling the match. In stoppage time, at the 91st minute, Joselu struck again, securing his brace.
